Over the years, Amy has developed The Hummingbird Art Project, an initiative that harmonizes Art Education with therapeutic practice. Inspired by the remarkable journey of hummingbirds—known for their migration over vast distances—this project seeks to inspire youth to transcend limiting beliefs and cultivate hope. Through specific artistic activities, Amy guides at-risk youth in reflecting on their experiences, enabling them to express pain and envision possibilities.
Amy’s ambition is to be a transformative force within the Art Educational System. As she embarks on her journey towards a Doctorate in Education, she aims to prove that art can do much more than soothe; it can revolutionize personal narratives and empower young lives. With a creative mindset and a dedication to mindful engagement, she envisions a future where every individual recognizes their life as a masterpiece in progress.
Amy is available primarily on weekends, ready to guide you on a colorful journey of self-exploration and healing through the arts.
