Brandy Holloway, LMSW is a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional with a passion for making a positive impact on her patient’s lives. Brandy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Springfield College in Massachusetts.
Brandy started her career in education, teaching for 15 years before transitioning to mental health. Her experience includes working with children with autism in a school setting, providing counseling at a cultural center in East Hartford, and working as a residential counselor for individuals dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues. Brandy also contributes to the foster care system, emphasizing her dedication to the well-being of children and families.
Brandy enjoys working with clients of all ages. Her specialties include helping children with autism and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use disorder.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral techniques. She believes in building a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to express themselves. Her goal is to empower individuals, providing them with the tools and motivation to overcome challenges collaboratively.
Beyond her professional life, Brandy is family-oriented. As a mother of two and a grandmother, her family holds a special place in her heart. She especially enjoys spending quality time with her grandson. She also finds joy in crafting in her free time. Brandy is an ordained minister, performing wedding ceremonies and spreading positivity through life coaching.
