Julian Stakley, LMSW
Julian Stakley, LMSW, received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Fitchburg State University and his Master’s in social work from Our Lady of The Lake University. During his master’s program, he specialized in Hispanic children and families.
Throughout his agency work, Julian focused on helping adolescents in various capacities, including group psychotherapy classes and working with teens with developmental disabilities and psychiatric conditions. He also has experience providing individual counseling to adults with co-occurring disorders.
Julain enjoys working with teens because adolescence is a unique and crucial part of our lives. Julian enjoys helping adolescents navigate competing demands, including education, puberty, family issues, and peer conflicts.
At SMPsychotherapy, Julian works with adolescents with adjustment disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, and individuals of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar, major depressive disorder, PTSD, and other mental health issues. He can also assist couples in navigating communication difficulties and relationship challenges.
