Lorraine Willias, LMSW
Lorraine Willias, LMSW switched from a nursing career to social work because she wanted a career that helped people with autism spectrum disorder and anyone struggling with mental health issues. She received her MAster’s degree from Our Lady of The Lake University in 2022.
Lorraine has experience working with children and adults with autism spectrum disorder. She helps individuals and families develop skills that allow them to live a life they’re proud of. She’s also worked as a case manager in a hospital setting where she connects patients with community and health resources they need after discharge. She works with homeless people, and those with life-changing illness and injury so when they leave the hospital they’re safe and cared for.
At SMPsychotherapy and Counseling services Lorraine offers therapy to people of all ages with autism and adults with anxiety, depression, executive functioning issues, chronic illness, and life transitions. Lorraine uses solution-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
Therapy with Lorraine is a comfortable experience where humor and trust work alongside traditional therapy techniques to help you learn strategies that work in the real world, not just in your weekly sessions. To schedule an appointment with Lorraine, reach out to our office today.
