Samantha YeboahLicensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinical Supervisor

Great clinicians are not simply taught what to do—they are prepared to know how to respond when clinical situations become complex, unexpected, or difficult.

That philosophy is central to Samantha Yeboah, LCSW’s approach to clinical supervision at SMPsychotherapy & Counseling Services. Licensed since 2015, Samantha brings more than 11 years of professional experience, including extensive work in crisis management and supporting children and families experiencing psychiatric crises.

For Samantha, supervision is a responsibility she takes seriously. Her goal is not simply to review cases, but to develop clinicians who are thoughtful, prepared, ethical, safety-conscious, and confident in their clinical decision-making.

She works with associate clinicians and Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSWs), providing guidance around complex clinical situations, crisis response, client safety, professional boundaries, clinical processes, documentation, ethics, and the practical realities of providing behavioral health care. She believes clinicians should understand not only what to do, but also why it matters and how to respond when circumstances do not follow the textbook.

Samantha brings high expectations to supervision while remaining warm, caring, and invested in professional growth. She values accountability, preparation, consistency, and following established clinical and safety procedures. Her approach combines teaching with guidance, helping developing clinicians strengthen their judgment while becoming increasingly confident and independent in their work.

Outside of her professional life, Samantha enjoys traveling, hiking, playing volleyball, taking walks, and writing poetry—a balance of movement, exploration, reflection, and creativity.

At SMPsychotherapy & Counseling Services, Samantha provides clinical supervision with one central goal: to help clinicians become prepared—not only for the sessions they expect, but for the clinical moments they cannot predict.

For associates and LMSWs seeking a workplace where clinical supervision includes structured guidance, professional accountability, crisis-management education, and meaningful development, Samantha brings both the experience to teach and the commitment to help clinicians grow.
