Angela Ferrigno, LMFT
Angela Ferrigno, LMFT, provides a relaxing therapy experience for adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She received her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University in 2017 after becoming a parent and pursuing her dream of helping others build satisfying relationships.
Angela has extensive experience working with teens, families, and adults in home-based and outpatient settings. She’s helped families navigate substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Angela currently runs a group for parents to learn strategies for navigating trauma history.
Angela specializes in working with individuals 15 and older dealing with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and trauma. She works with parents, couples, and families to build healthy relationships by improving communication, learning to problem solve, and addressing unresolved feelings and issues.
Therapy with Angela is relaxed and conversational. Her clients report feeling like they’re talking to a friend. She believes therapy should be a safe space for people to build self-awareness. Recognizing our emotions, triggers, and past experiences can help us create the lives we want.
Angela uses cognitive behavioral therapy to help people reframe their thoughts, Multidimensional family therapy MDFT, and solution-focused therapy. If you’re ready to experience positive changes and break free from the hold of mental illness over your life, call our office today to schedule an appointment with Angela. You’ll leave each session feeling lighter and better able to engage with the most important parts of your life.
